Cambodia Travel By Plane

Can I travel between Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam and Laos by bus, train, etc…or just plane?

..or if you know, where can I go to find out? (website wise)

First of all when entering & leaving these countries, you will have to pay visa entry fees for all these countries. The cheapest form of transportation in all these countries would be a bus ride. But these buses are usually extremely overcrowded and have no air conditioning. As for train, Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam have rail systems, but Laos does not offer any. The quickest form of transportation would be plane ride but that does have a few setbacks as well. Thailand is the only country with acceptable air travel. Cambodia and Vietnam offer Government owned airlines that usually offer high prices. Laos Aviation is one of the worst in the world. The United States Gov’t insist that people travelling to Laos attempt to avoid using Lao Airlines. Have A Great Trip!

There is more to Siem Reap, Cambodia and the temples of Angkor

Angkor National Museum is located on the road to Angkor Wat in Vithei Charles De Gaulle Phnom Salokanseng, Siem Reap. The National Angkor would be classified as one of the sites of Cambodia's first museum.

Upon entering the museum modern across the hall, the visitor is taken to a briefing room where there is a screen presentation of what the museum has to offer. It depicts the journey to come back into an ancient civilization, that of the Khmers.

Exit the briefing room, the visitor enters in the gallery from 1000 Buddha images. This spectacular room displays rare Buddha statues and images from all periods in time and be one of the most prestigious collections you could imagine. There are images in niches on the interior walls are highlighted by color and lighting used.

The floor display is highlighted by a catchy ancient Buddhist statue.

This gallery alone was worth the price of admission, not to mention the splendor of the seven other galleries.

There are a total of seven other galleries that highlight this ancient civilization by both display and video presentations. The video presentations are very well done and appreciated by visitors who perhaps was not aware of the achievements former Khmer Empire. Galleries mixture into each other after leaving the gallery of the Buddha 1000, the first two focusing on the period pre-Angkorian civilization, religion and beliefs. The roles of the Great Khmer kings are honored in the following gallery with 4 kings who formed the kingdom Khmer and who also introduced the ancient cities of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom in the world.

The next two galleries gave an overview of tent architecture and engineering of the two cities and give the visitor an educational background that would enhance their experience while visiting the Angkor complex. It is a model large scale in the region of Angkor, which gives the visitor a useful reference for the eye before their journey to the temples. The next View describes the use of inscriptions on stone to note how people lived in ancient Khmer. The last room beautifully painted in blends earth tones with displays of antique costume.
To complete the experience of the museum gift shop offers a selection of real Cambodian arts and crafts available for purchase.

For those whose knowledge of Khmer culture was limited to the temples of Angkor, this museum is an excellent resource base for visitors.

Cambodia Travel Pass

the travel experience travel in Cambodia

A sigh of relief and excitement enveloped me as the plane touched down at Ho Chi Minh. I have no real plan other than to go to Siem Reap . But I knew I would be the best time.

I was with my friends and we were looking for a memorable adventure. We have abandoned the usual way of taking a plane to Cambodia's experience – and therefore out of the bus stop, we went and bought our bus 13-hour ride ticket. It was an excellent decision as the intensely rich and picturesque surroundings kept us entertained throughout the journey. When we arrived Siem Reap, we were tired but we were in awe.

There are many temples to see in Cambodia. So armed with our cameras Digital, bottled water and a thirst for adventure, we traveled to where the action was, or at least where he was.

In Siem Reap we were transported in an architectural masterpiece of thousands of years. Intelligence and sophistication of teachers who conceptualized the structure shows everywhere. Power power and light emerge from the works of art on the wall tell stories and serve the depth of their own beliefs.

The symmetry of target = "_blank"> Angkor Wat is amazing. Imagine it while he was fully functional was overwhelming – Apsara dancers illuminate the rooms with their energy, conferences, which are transmitted from seniors to one another and sharing inspiring thoughts of kings and knowledge with their people.

Another nearby temple, we visited was the Bayon at Angkor Thom. That's the beauty and encouraged to come look us – a series of complex facades smile invite tourists to return to the work of Jayavarman VII in the art. I really like this temple because positivity encapsulated the entire region and the massive stone faces shine on the scene.

Phnom Bakheng, Cambodia

We have come to understand and learn the transfer of power that have transpired, hear stories that have ruled the bonfires and the best All we had to converse with the monks as they still go to pray.

A temple of Phnom Bakheng is considered a "hot spot". They filmed the most exciting scenes from "Tomb Raider" in Phnom Bakheng where the roots of giant old trees intrusive sweep the temple walls. This is where we 've had fun trying creative poses mimicking scenes from the movie.

Exploring Siem Reap with my friends turned out to be one of the best My experiences in Cambodia. We consider ourselves privileged to have been able to experience the glory that once was. If only we could have teleported in time.

Nevertheless, to see and touch the parts is to testify that once he At one time a true love of architecture and passion for their belief was widely spread throughout the country. So after a few days exploration, we packed our bags and left Siem Reap, farewell to a beautiful place that is sure to stick with us for the rest of our lives.
