Direct flights to Burma in Phuket, Thailand on the Myanmar Air Bagan
Phuket, Thailand: Air Bagan, Myanmar (Burma) airlines, has announced the introduction of direct flights between Yangon (Rangoon) in Myanmar (Burma) and Phuket, Thailand.
The first flight will take place April 11, 2011, with two weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays. Return tickets will cost in the region of 10,900 baht ($ 360), including meals board and drinks.
Tickets are already on sale for the new road through the airline website, but later this month Air Bagan will open a branch in Phuket Town.
"The flights will be much more convenient and cheaper for tourists already in Phuket. The direct flights from Phuket take only two hours, while flights in progress that may leave Bangkok, "said PB Travel Agency Center, Director General, Suranat Taweesap.
