Best way from Bangkok to Cambodia border?
We are travelling to Cambodia on Saturday, which is the best way to go by road to the border – we have options of bus from Ekamai bus terminal to Trat, Bus to Trat from the airport and then minibus or Taxi to the boarder which takes over an hour, or Taxi from the airport straight to the boarder. All the road routes take upwards of 5 hours. Are there toilets on the buses (I have heard that some are air conditioned) and do the taxis stop on route? Any information anyone has would be great please.
BKK airport – didn’t realise there was another. Someone has mentioned Visas at the boarder – this is the first I have heard of them. Is there a problem with them being delayed if you don’t pay over the odds?
Which airport are you refering to, Suvarnabumi, or U Chu luang? Buses are generaly airconned and have toilets, taxiswill stop where and when you want them to.
